Rule Changes For 2019-2020

If you wish to submit an amendment it must be back to me by 14 November and will then be discussed and voted on at the mid season meeting of clubs on Monday 3 December

RULE AMENDEMENTS/CHANGES

Current Rule 20 (F)
A club may at its discretion and in accordance with the Laws of the Game use substitute players in any match in this competition. Up to five (5) may be selected from five (5) substitute players The referee shall be informed of the names of the substitutes not later than thirty (30) minutes before the start of the match any player not so named may not take part in the match. A player who has been selected, appointed or named as a substitute before the start of the match but does not actually play in the game shall not be considered to have been a player in that game within the meaning of Rule 8 of this competition.

Proposed Amendment to Rule 20 (F)
(Proposed by Fleet Spurs FC)
A Club may at its discretion and in accordance with the Laws of the Games use up to five named substitutes and all substitutes may be used as often and as frequently as the team wishes, and players who are substituted may be used again in the place of any other player as many times as necessary, except to replace a player who has been suspended from the game by the referee. Substitutions can only be made when play is stopped for any reason and the referee has given permission in accordance with the normal substitution process. The names of all substitutes must be given

Current Rule 20 (E) (iii)
In the event of a match not being played or abandoned owing to causes over which neither Club has control, it shall be played in its entirety on a date to be mutually agreed by the two (2) clubs and approved by the Management Committee. Failing such agreement and notification to the Fixture Secretary within thirty (30) days the Management Committee shall have the power order the match to be played on a named date or on or before the date given

Proposed Amendment to Rule 20 E (iii)
(Proposed by the ACYL General Secretary)
In the event of a match not being played or abandoned owing to causes over which neither Club has control, it shall be played in its entirety on a date to be mutually agreed (within 42 days of the original postponed fixture/abandoned fixture) by the two (2) clubs and approved by the Management Committee. Failing such agreement and notification to the Fixture Secretary within seven (7) days the Management Committee shall have the order the match to be played on a named date or on or before the date given.

NEW RULE
(Proposed by the ACYL General Secretary)
If a match is postponed for any reason 48 hours or less before the scheduled kick off the HOME club shall fully complete a Match Postponement Form and submit by email to the Result Secretary cc’d to the Fixture Secretary

NEW RULE

Any player who has had his ACYL registration cancelled by his club will not be allowed to register for another ACYL club for a minimum of 14 days.
